Careers fair in Southwark secondary
We hosted a stand at a local Southwark secondary school careers fair today, sharing various routes available to students interested in the built environment. As we strive to make architecture a more inclusive profession, it’s important to step outside of the industry to engage young people early.
Our VR goggles (we had a queue!) and 3D printed models helped spark conversations about architecture, space and different ways of modelling.
GCSE and A level choices can support journeys into architecture, so early knowledge of potential routes is key. It was great to meet the students and hopefully encourage a few to consider careers in the built environment.
