We love the early stages of strip out when so much of the original building is revealed. Last month Fathom started on site with Ambit Moat at 143-158 Farringdon Road.

Celebrating the building’s Victorian heritage and upgrading its performance are key aspects to the ambitious retrofit to create 66,000sqft of distinctive workspace for client BentallGreenOak.

These beautiful existing brick arches, chimneys and openings will be cleaned and repaired to remain part of the new structure.

Windows will be replaced with double glazed units calculated to reduce office energy consumption by 4.55 kWh/m2/year – paying back the embodied carbon from replacing the units within 6 years.
