The Waterman shortlisted for AJ Architecture Award
Wonderful news to hear The Waterman has made the Heritage shortlist for the AJ Architecture Awards!
This extensive retrofit and rethink of a prominent Victorian building in Clerkenwell threw up a fair few curve balls along the way, but the design team’s ingenuity, persistence and collaborative spirit persevered to deliver something really special for our client BGO.
Through an analytical and considered approach to the existing heritage building, we unlocked net area on every level, carved out high end amenity space and vastly improved the building’s efficiency (from EPC C-E to an A).
